In 1998, Kentucky goat producers recognized there was a need to develop
an organization that would address the issues of a growing industry,
and the Kentucky Goat Producers Association was born. The association
continues to serve members by supporting the Kentucky Goat Industry and fulfilling its mission :
"KENTUCKY'S GOAT INDUSTRY
PROFIT FOR PRODUCERS, QUALITY FOR THE MARKET PLACE."
